Crackle Dragon is rated as a Category 2 firework, suitable for outdoor use where at least 15 metres of clearance from the audience can be guaranteed. Thanks to its dump cake format, the entire effect fires in just seconds, so it's essential to prepare carefully and follow the setup instructions closely.

Keep the firework dry until firing – plastic coverings such as bin bags or cling film can be used to shield it in poor weather, but ensure the fuse is only exposed shortly before ignition. Never use this method on rockets or spinning fireworks.
