Fireworks Near Thirsk

The same rules apply across North Yorkshire as the rest of the UK. Consumers aged 18 or over can buy Category F2 and F3 fireworks without a licence, covering cakes and barrages, rockets, Roman candles, fountains, compounds and low noise fireworks. Category F4 fireworks are for professional use only.

Keep fireworks in their original packaging, in a cool, dry place away from any heat source or naked flame, and out of reach of children. Consumers can store up to 50kg NEC of fireworks without a licence. For full guidance, read our fireworks safety guide.
