Firework Cakes & Barrages

Firework cakes (also known as barrage fireworks) are multi-shot fireworks that fire a sequence of effects from a single ignition. Each tube launches automatically in a set pattern, creating a continuous display of colours and bursts. Simple to use and reliable, they’re one of the easiest ways to create an impressive display at home or at events.

Many of our cakes are Category F2, designed for outdoor residential use with a minimum safety distance of 8 metres. Larger barrages are often Category F3 and require 25 metres of clear space.

Always check the category rating on each product before buying.

For a mixed garden display, cakes with 16–49 shots work well. For a standalone centrepiece or finale, look for 50 shots or more. Our largest compound barrages run for up to three minutes from a single ignition.

Yes, we offer a dedicated range of low noise cakes and barrages that deliver impressive visual effects with reduced noise levels. These are ideal for residential areas, as well as for households with pets or noise considerations.

A compound barrage is several individual cakes linked together by the manufacturer into a single fused unit. One ignition fires the entire sequence in stages, delivering a longer and more varied display than a standard cake, perfect as a display finale.
